Before Kerry arrived in Geneva, Zarif told Iranian state media that mid-level bilateral talks had produced "good discussions but no agreements", and some differences remained. Some Western countries, the United States in particular, see sanctions as an asset, a lever to exert pressure on Iran. As long as this thinking persists it will be very hard, difficult to reach a settlement." Kerry did not make remarks on his arrival in Geneva, where he was first meeting members of the U.S. delegation before sitting down with Zarif.

Hundreds of inmates relocated after Texas prison uprising

(Reuters) - More than 300 inmates from a Texas federal prison damaged in an uprising on Friday were relocated on Sunday and hundreds more will be moved later in the day, said a private contractor who operates the prison. The inmates at the Willacy County Correctional Center in Raymondville, Texas are being transferred to other U.S. Bureau of Prisons facilities in a process that will continue next week, said Issa Arnita, spokesman for Management & Training Corporation.

(Reuters) - The body of a 6-year-old girl was found at a Missouri hotel on Saturday evening shortly after she was reported missing, police said on Sunday, and her death is being treated as suspicious. Jasmine Miller was found dead in a room at the Windsor Inn near the city of Branson, a tourist destination in the Ozark Mountains known for its numerous entertainment theaters, many of which feature country music stars.
