By Steve Gorman LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A multi-state E. coli outbreak that has sickened at least 19 people who ate rotisserie chicken salad sold at Costco Wholesale Corp's stores has been traced to a celery-and-onion mix used in the salad, prompting its California maker to recall the product. The contaminated chicken in that case was supplied by California-based Foster Poultry Farms.

About 2,000 people with signs reading "Stop Police Terror" gathered in a cold drizzle for the march on Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" on the Black Friday shopping day, which closed the major city street of Michigan Avenue to traffic. Organizers said the rally, led by activist-politician the Rev. Passengers on a British Airways plane that caught fire taking off from Las Vegas in September are suing the makers of the plane and its engines in Chicago, their lawyers said on Friday. The engine of the Boeing 777 burst into flames, forcing all 170 passengers and crew to escape via emergency slides, after a part of a spool in the high-pressure compressor failed, according to findings from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Now 65 passengers from the United States, Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland and Germany are seeking damages from Boeing and engine maker GE for pain, suffering, emotional stress as well as financial losses, law firm Stewarts Law said in a statement.

A man draped in an American flag jumped over the fence of the White House while President Barack Obama was inside with his family celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, officials and US media said. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump denied on Thursday he was mocking the physical disability of a New York Times reporter during a campaign speech in which he flailed his arms and distorted his speech in an imitation of the journalist. The latest uproar over Trump's behavior on the campaign trail was ignited by remarks the billionaire real-estate tycoon and former reality-TV star made during a South Carolina rally on Tuesday about the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York's World Trade Center. Malian special forces arrested two suspects Thursday over a siege at a luxury hotel in the capital Bamako that left 20 people dead, security sources said. "Two suspects linked to the attack last week at the Radisson hotel have just been arrested and they are being interrogated," one of the sources told AFP. The identity of the suspects and their alleged role in Friday's jihadist attack on the 190-room Radisson Blu hotel was not immediately known.
